Individual Nutrition Coaching
To assist our clients in achieving wellness, we offer services in nutritional coaching. Objectives of the
nutritional coaching program are
1. Evaluate personal eating habits to establish current nutritional status
2. Understand the importance of good nutritional choices in achieving optimal health
3. Make recommendations for nutritional improvement
4. Apply recommendations to achieve desired results
Evaluate personal eating habits
The first step in moving towards optimal wellness is gaining a solid understanding of an individual’s current
eating habits. First, we gather a list of the clients' current food choices using a 5-7 day food journaling
process. Second, we’ll analyze the results and develop an education action plan. Included in this session
is a discussion of client’s personal wellness objectives.
Understand the importance of good nutritional choices
A key building block to better nutrition is understanding benefits and drawbacks of food choices in the diet.
This session focuses on areas for nutritional improvement while highlighting the clients’ dietary strengths.
Recommendations for nutritional improvement
Once we gain knowledge on the importance of food choices, it’s now time to put a plan into action. A list of
recommendations is developed that includes:
1. Healthy alternatives to the client’s current food choices
2. A compilation of recipes based on the clients’ personal food choices
Apply recommendations to achieve desired results
The application of what we learn is what helps us achieve our desired results! In this module, we offer the
following options:
1. Trip to a local grocery store to gain an understanding of how to read labels for nutritional
value and where healthy foods are located.
2. Additional coaching to overcome an individuals’ lifestyle obstacles to better nutrition
3. Ongoing coaching and follow up per client’s request (additional fees apply)
