Debby –
I just wanted to extend a very sincere THANK YOU for taking the time to come and speak to our group yesterday. I found your talk extremely informative and very interesting! I crave as much knowledge as I can get my hands on regarding anything that can help make me a better coach and a better runner. Nutrition is certainly a big component that cannot be overlooked. Interestingly, after your talk yesterday, the cooler full of sports drink that I bring each week was emptied for the first time. I have stressed over and over the importance of consuming carbs during the long runs, but I’m not sure they took it seriously until they heard your talk yesterday….                                                                                                                                                – J. Howard, PTA USATF Level 1 Running Coach

It is with great pleasure that I am writing in reference to Debby Pool and her health and nutrition education ministry. She recently gave a presentation to our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group and shared practical and useful advice on modifying our family’s eating habits to prevent disease and promote good health. Her nutrition tips have been very easy to implement even in our young children’s diets. My 5-year-old has already made great strides in making healthy food choices since we’ve implemented some of Debby’s helpful techniques.                                                                                                           – V. Ruhlig, MOPS of St. John Coordinator

I hired Debby Pool as a nutritionist for my family (married with 2 teenage boys). I felt we needed some guidance and knowledge with the vitamins and foods that are in our grocers and schools. Debby came to the first of our 4 sessions very prepared with props and examples. She helped us read labels on foods, and worked with us to understand the good and bad in the foods we have in our home. The coaching service was very educational not only to my husband and myself, but my children were also captivated by her knowledge and approach. She kept their interest with videos, slide presentations and actual foods she either brought or prepared in our kitchen. …My children still ask questions about foods and pay attention to what ingredients are in the foods they eat. We are very happy with the results!                       – S. Zanga, family coaching client

Dear Debby,
I attended your “Moving Towards a Healthier You” seminar last August and just had to tell you what an inspiration you were! You challenged us to take that first step towards better health by just choosing one thing in our diets that aren’t healthy for us and eliminating it. I decided to stop drinking soda pop and I’ve lost 26 pounds in 5 months! Not only that but I feel better than I have in years. Thanks for encouraging me to take that first step…                                                                                                                                      – K. Blakeslee, seminar attendee

I am delighted to write a letter of reference for Debby Pool. I had asked Debby to speak here in Kansas City in May 2007, after hearing positive feedback about her health education seminar concerning children’s nutrition. She spoke for an audience of 300, to mostly concerned parents and grandparents, who were delighted with her powerful information, facts and handouts. Debby is a knowledgeable and gifted speaker and is organized, confident and thorough. Debby is also “from the heart” and presents in a sincere and down to earth way, which the audience could relate to. Her talk was extremely informative, practical and timely. Working with Debby and organizing this event was a pleasure from the start. She was professional and reliable and the event was flawless. I hope to work with Debby again and I would highly recommend her to any and all!                                                                                 – C. James, Juice Plus Company Event Coordinator

“Debby, thank you for your exceptional presentation at our meeting!                                 – J. Nichols, President, AOTC hiking group

“Thank you so much for your informative presentation at our meeting. You did a wonderful job of informing us of the dangers of certain snacks and other foods commonly accepted in sports circles. I also appreciated your “gentle” delivery style. I’ve participated in other nutritional talks and always felt kind of beat up afterwards. With you this was definitely not the case.”                                    – D. Duane, AOTC hiking group member
